The Seven Attractions, Close Up

Visitors holding phones with e-voucher barcodes at an attraction entrance

Mall of America is free to enter, and none of the seven GetYourGuide tickets is a tour of the building. Each one opens a single door inside it: a theme park, an aquarium, a crayon attraction, an escape room, a museum of illusions and two mini-golf courses. The pages below take one door each, from its place in the mall to what the ticket covers. Live dates are in each page’s booking widget, and what it costs explains why this site prints no figures.

The centre and Level 1: the park and the aquarium

The Nickelodeon Universe ride pass is a one-day wristband for the seven-acre theme park at the centre of the mall, where the shopping levels form a ring around the rides. It can fill a whole day. SEA LIFE Minnesota is on Level 1, east side, next to the East ramp and its light-rail station, and a typical visit takes about an hour.

Levels 2 and 3: the other five

Four of the five are on Level 3. Crayola Experience is in the south-east corner and takes 3 to 4 hours. The Escape Game is on the east side, with a 60-minute clock and a recommended age of 13 and over. Two 18-hole mini-golf courses take about an hour each: Moose Mountain on the north side and Rock of Ages, under black light, on the east.

Museum of Illusions is on Level 2, north side, by the North Entrance. The listing gives no visit length, and it is the only non-refundable ticket of the seven. The map and levels page places all seven by level and mall address.

By the time each one takes

An hour covers the aquarium, the escape room or either golf course. Crayola needs most of an afternoon. The ride pass is built for a full day, and Molly, one reviewer, stayed with her daughter from opening to close. Each level of the mall is about 1.2 miles round, so the walk between doors adds time; how long it takes adds it up.

Choose an attraction

The seven are set side by side, with a comparison table, on the tickets page. The age guide sorts them from toddlers to adults.

Frequently asked questions

Are these pages reviews with scores?

No. Each page is a close-up guide: where the attraction is, what happens, what the ticket includes, who it suits and what reviewers mention by first name. The site prints no scores and no prices; live dates are in each page’s booking widget.

Which attraction takes the least time?

The escape room runs on a fixed 60-minute clock. The aquarium and both golf courses take about an hour each. Walking between them adds time, since each level is about 1.2 miles round.

Can every ticket be cancelled?

Six of the seven have free cancellation up to 24 hours before. The Museum of Illusions ticket is non-refundable once booked. The tickets page lists the cancellation terms side by side.
